THE STAR INN

The Star Inn, which dates back to the late 16th century, is situated in the peaceful Test Valley in Hampshire and was originally part of the Lockerley Hall Estate owned by the Dalgety family.  Now a Free House Country Inn with Rooms, this family owned gastro pub aims to offer a friendly welcoming atmosphere with great food and a range of excellent traditional ales and wines.

THE TEST VALLEY

Situated in the Test Valley and close to the cities of Salisbury, Winchester and Southampton, just a short drive from the market towns of Romsey and Stockbridge, the area is rich in local attractions.  The New Forest National Park is just ten minutes away and nearby National Trust property Mottisfont is one of the many historic houses and gardens to visit.

CHILDREN

We welcome children as long as they are under parental supervision, although we think pubs are for grown-ups in the evening.  We have high chairs, a young person's menu (under 6 years) and we can provide extra plates so that meals can be shared.
